Wallace Consulting conducted a consultation exercise comprising of 40 interviews and 10 focus groups with SU staff, Queen’s staff and students with regards to current and future service provision. The research gathered opinions on the overall student offering, defined the major strengths and weaknesses with the existing provision, identified key areas of development within the Union and established a wish list of aspirations of how the Students’ Union should look and what it should deliver within the next three years. This research informed the composition of the Union's planning process.
Joanne is working with RRNI over a three year period to evaluate both its organisational development and the impact of its reminiscence work. The engagement involves desk research, development of monitoring and data collection templates and systems, surveys, focus groups, interviews and case-studies. Importantly, the evaluation is designed to inform and support RNNI throughout its planning and decision-making and involves a review of internal governance structures, internal and external communication, policies, procedures and working practices. RNNI have a number of challenges over the next few years. Our research will evaluate the reminiscence training and facilitation provided by RNNI and will provide an assessment of programme management in order to help RNNI to make the most efficient use of available and potential resources.
